Description
This series offers 1.5 FF full-frame anamorphic coverage, improved bokeh, near-zero chromatic aberration and a vintage look that is warmer than that of the Orion series. The Mercury series in ARRI PL mount includes 36, 42 and 72 mm lenses.
This lens produces 1.5 times the horizontal field with the same vertical field of view as a similar spherical lens.
It offers a vintage anamorphic look with golden flares, pleasing barrel distortion and almost no chromatic aberration.
The fast T2.2 aperture allows the Mercury anamorphic lens to excel in low-light shooting.
Mercury lenses feature a MOD offset of 0.8, a front diameter of 95 mm and focus marks in feet. The standardised 95 mm front diameter is compatible with many filters and matte boxes.
