Description
The Foam Box: an expanded polyethylene (EPE) foam block designed to replace the wooden apple box on set, for propping, raising or sitting on, without scratching floors.
It weighs only about 1.4 kg yet supports over 900 kg, and stays comfortable to sit on; a handle makes it easy to carry. Its flexibility, however, makes it unsuitable for levelling dolly track, and it must be kept away from fire and temperatures above 70 °C.
