Description
The Teradek Serv 4K is a streaming and recording system designed to transmit and share live images, both on set and remotely.
It supports SDI and HDMI signals up to 4K/60p, with 10-bit 4:2:2 HDR encoding and HEVC and AVC compression. This makes it possible to maintain good image quality while making distribution across different networks easier.
Thanks to its local and cloud streaming functions, the Serv 4K makes it possible to share a camera's images with several devices, whether for monitoring, supervision, remote collaboration or production tracking.
Its network bonding system can combine several connections, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, cellular modem and compatible smartphones, in order to improve transmission stability.
The Serv 4K also features SD card recording, an SDI loop-through output and remote management tools via Teradek Core. It is compatible with several production and collaboration platforms, including Frame.io.
With its compact aluminium housing, its weight of approximately 476 g and its D-Tap power options, the Serv 4K fits easily into professional shooting setups.
It is a suitable solution for film, television, advertising and event productions that require reliable streaming, remote monitoring and fast sharing of images.
