Description
Based on the popular LS C300d, Aputure's Light Storm LS C300d Mark II LED lighting kit with V-mount battery plate is an upgraded version offering 20% more power, sophisticated features and advanced connectivity. Aputure uses Chip on Board (COB) technology to produce a colour temperature of 5500K, with a power consumption of only 350W, while producing 3500 lux with an efficient reflector at a distance of 3 m. In addition to energy efficiency, this light also has a CRI / TLCI rating of 96, indicating the accuracy of its colour rendering. The unit's ballast / controller uses 0 to 100% dimming curves: Linear, Logarithmic, Exponential and S-Curve. It is separate from the body of the unit, which makes it lighter and reduces its size. A mounting base is provided for use with an optional clamp, allowing a lightweight stand to be attached to spread the weight.
The performance of the LS C300d II is backed up by its design. The all-aluminium construction goes through many manufacturing steps, and the reflector and accessory mount is Bowens' widely used S-type. A wireless remote control, allowing you to control on/off and dimming functions at distances of up to 100m, is included. Speaking of control, Aputure also offers Bluetooth control via the Sidus Link App, which allows all of the light's functions to be adjusted wirelessly, as well as effects such as Lightning, Pulse, Flash and Explosion. Ideal for sound-sensitive environments, the LS C300d II can be seen but not heard. The intelligent cooling system uses temperature-sensitive fans to regulate heat. Even at full power, the fan is undetectable to most people.
The LS C300d II is ready to use worldwide thanks to its 100-240 VAC power supply, but it also has two battery plates, allowing you to use V-Mount batteries for external power when mains power is unavailable. The LS C300d II comes with a power cable, a DMX cable to connect it to the ballast, a wireless remote control, a base for an optional clamp and a rugged case able to support a load of 100kg to protect the light during transport and storage.
