Description
The ARRI M18 is a 1800 or 1200W open-face HMI light. Its beam angle is variable from 15° to 58°, which makes it effective in many situations without adding a lens.
It weighs only 11.5 kg, which makes it very easy to use, and its colour temperature is 6000K for perfect daylight.
Used with the included EBMAX ballast, it is possible to shoot at a very high frame rate (from 75 to 1200hz) without losing light quality.
The ballast allows the light to be controlled via DMX for control of the dim (from 50 to 100%), the frequency or even the on/off. It can be an ideal companion to the Skypanel s60 or the ARRI L7C.
Thanks to ALF (Active Line Filter) management, a variation of up to 10% in the power received does not affect the intensity of the M18 or its frequency.
The M18 can be plugged into a domestic socket and therefore does not need a generator to run.
