Description
Nikon ZR cinema camera
The Nikon ZR is a compact cinema camera fitted with a 24.5-megapixel full-frame sensor and the Nikon Z mount. It can record internally up to 6K/60p RAW, notably in R3D NE format, developed in collaboration with RED, as well as in N-RAW and ProRes RAW HQ.
Its dynamic range of more than 15 stops and its dual base sensitivity of 800 and 6400 ISO offer great shooting flexibility, particularly in high-contrast scenes and in low light.
The ZR features a 4-inch tilting touchscreen, fast autofocus with detection of nine subject types and internal 32-bit float audio recording, for versatile use without necessarily needing an external monitor or recorder.
Weighing approximately 540 g and with a compact body, it is suited to handheld shooting, gimbal work or setups where mobility is important. Its fanless heat dissipation system also allows silent operation to be maintained.
The Nikon ZR is a complete solution for fiction, documentary, interview and music video projects and for productions requiring a lightweight camera, while offering recording formats suited to a professional workflow.
