Description
Black borniol, 6 x 4 m: a large black cloth for blacking out a bay or a window, masking part of the set, creating a black background or absorbing stray light on set.
Hung, stretched on a structure or fixed to a frame, it also works as a large negative fill: placed close to the actors, it takes light away and increases contrast on the side where it stands.
