Description
The key to the success of Sachtler heads lies mainly in the adjustment of the different levels of fluidity. Now the innovative SPEEDBALANCE technology allows even faster and more precise counterbalancing for your camera. By reducing the minimum payload, the operating range of Sachtler fluid heads is extended.
The DV 12 SB fluid head is supplied with the Touch & Go® 16 plate (Ref. no. 1064). It contains a 1/4" screw and a 1/8" screw. Spare camera screws (1/4" and 1/8") and a pin screw are located in the balance plate. The pin screw fits into the central bore of the camera platform. In this way, a pin/1/4" connection can be made if required for a camera.
If, once the camera balance adjustment is complete, too much load should bear on the rear or the front, the C.O.G plate (Ref. no. 1063) can provide a solution, as it allows an offset position relative to the camera seat to be obtained. The C.O.G plate cannot be used with the pin screw and the 1/4" screw.
