Description
The ARRI SkyPanel S60C is the most advanced LED fixture on the market and one of the most powerful, at 400W.
It emits an enormous output of light while remaining soft. It is a versatile fixture that can be used in a great many situations. It can work at very low as well as very high illuminance levels, and is fully dimmable.
The quality of the light is close to perfection, drawing on the know-how of ARRI's L-Series with a CRI above 95.
The fixture is made up of more than 2000 white, red, green and blue LEDs which, calibrated together, produce an even, soft beam. And that is precisely what defines it: a soft light for soft shadows.
Its light is very natural on skin tones, which means it can be used mainly on actors, although it can excel in many situations.
It was designed as a soft light, but also excels as a space light.
The C (Color) version of the SkyPanel lets you control the colour temperature from 2800 to 10000 Kelvin, with excellent rendering across the whole colour range. It will therefore perform well as both an interior and an exterior light.
Its control panel, which is very easy to use, lets you select different colours, but also make green corrections and adjust the intensity, its hue, or even the saturation.
The diffusion panels on the front of the fixture are interchangeable, making it possible to change the intensity of the diffusion.
Its versatility keeps growing thanks to updates. It now includes built-in effects that let it reproduce the light of a fire, a police car, a club and many others.
The SkyPanel S60C can be run on battery at 50% of its output, which makes it a great asset for your outdoor shoots. Adjustable via DMX from a mobile app, it allows very precise control and can be synchronised with other SkyPanels as well as with L-Series fixtures such as the ARRI L7C.
