Description
Tiffen Glimmerglass diffusion filter, grade 1/8, screwing onto a lens with a 77 mm thread: it adds a soft, subtle halo around light sources in frame and specular highlights, while keeping the image looking sharp.
It slightly lowers contrast, smooths the transition into the shadows and softens skin blemishes in close-up, while slightly muting bright colours. 1/8 is the lightest grade in the screw-in range.
