Description
The Easyrig STABIL G3 is the latest innovation from manufacturer Easyrig, offering smooth, stabilised camera movement. In particular, it smooths out shots taken while walking, while giving you comfort of use on your shoots. It can stabilise camera setups weighing between 5-25 kg.
The Concept
The ergonomics of the Easyrig reduce the static load on the neck and shoulder muscles and redistribute it to the lower hips.
The Easyrig gives you the effect and mobility of a shoulder-mounted camera, while producing more stable images. It gives the operator more freedom from different positions: shoulder, hip or even knee level.
The Easyrig Vario 5 Stabil gives you the same advantages as the other Easyrig models, but also offers the ability to adapt easily to all kinds of cameras and setups.
The Easyrig changes its vest
This new Easyrig vest has been designed to improve operator comfort, particularly when the camera is extended forwards and/or for heavier setups. It is especially well suited to use with gimbals and Serene. Support is now provided all the way around the waist and up to above the hips.
The vest weighs less than 2kg and supports more than 25 kg. The wrap-style waist adjustment allows a close fit to the body, better weight distribution and gives the camera operator a better feel.
The Ideal Solution
The Easyrig is ideal for news reporting, sporting events, documentaries, feature films, commercials or any other situation where operator comfort is crucial and freedom of movement is essential. After the shoot, the Easyrig simply folds in two into its carry bag.
The origin of the Easyrig
After a full day of filming at the 1994 handball world championship, Johan Hellsten complained of pain, particularly around the shoulders. Johan then set about finding a solution. The first Easyrig was born: an iron tripod placed in a rucksack! Since his first prototype, Johan Hellsten has made many improvements to his Easyrig.
